Re: hi new guy
Welcome Browning... I have to say RC tankery is a great Hobby....my reason for saying that ..is Crashing a Tank isn't as Catastrophic as Crashing other RC products lol...it's very rare you will ever carry home your tank in a bucket
It is truly an Adventure.... perhaps even more challenging than making a cabinet...but just as satisfying once a project is done
Enjoy it...the Adventure that is
ALPHA
PS...It is a requirement that you must post photos................(just kidding) but photos are nice

Hallo Browning enjoy the Forum, if you are the owner of HENG LONG Tanks then I would suggest you scroll down to HENG LONG Builds, there you will see some great Tanks and of course how they were built same goes for TAMIYA and of course there is a section for other builds these are all worth a look, whatever, have fun it is after all only a hobby, if I keep telling my self that it may come true although what it really is, is poverty the hard way. shaun
I think I am about to upset someone

Good Evening,
Welcome to the Forum. There is a lot of accumulated knowledge here in the Headers and the people who are here. Enjoy your stay and post some pics of your tanks as you acquire and work on them. We love to kick the virtual road wheels around here.
regards,
Painless

o7 Browning! Welcome to the website I recommended to you.
You'll find a lot of encouraging words, tips, information and mad skillz here. Some of the builds on this website make me feel like a complete noob when I gaze upon my own amateurish works and despair.

So true. When I 'crash' my Struggle Buggy IV or my Jiggety Kitty I always check the furniture for damage rather than my models. I figure some dings and dents just help sell the 'used and abused' look that tanks are supposed to have anyways.ALPHA wrote:Crashing a Tank isn't as Catastrophic as Crashing other RC products lol
