i see that on ebay a day or 2 ago guys, i didnt post about it, cos i thought it was a mirage i did think i was seeing things, like you said matt its outragous, for that price you could buy shares in the factory that makes them!!!

This phenomenon doesn't seem to be unique to the RC tank market. In the past six or seven months, I have seen prices being asked for WW2 Military wireless equipment that is just as nuts. An American BC-611 walkie-talkie set could be had in fine working order a year and a half ago for $60.00 plus USF, and if it was especially minty or NOS, $100 was not unreasonable. Currently there are several non-minty units being flogged for between $500.00 and $900.00 USF.
Maybe these sellers figure if the world economy is collapsing they better try and get as much as possible from collectors, before the collectors all run out of money!
