I have noticed though, the engine hatches molded onto the rear of the upper hull, in the back look like they could be neatly cut and hinged, would be away from the gears and you'd have lots of room so i'd consider that if someone knows how and could show me some info about that...haven't seen ready made engine covers with hinges so we must be talking scratch built stuff I'm guessing...
You can't help but notice though, the driver's hatch holes are directly over the gearboxes. Don't want to route the switch and wires over the gears . So does that not mean the switch must be set back from the hole somehow, or mounted in the upper hull (which cannot now come all the way off unless you rig a switch disconnect). Magnets, velcro, a small wooden frame mount of some kind? Styrene mount?
What alternatives are there, and where and how do YOU consider the best way to move the switch(es)? I know plenty of you experten have something exactly right for mounting the switch but the search was of little help...so...HELP

To make matters more complicated i need to do the same to my king tiger....I hope i'm not going to the well too often but any ideas on that would be wonderful too...
