Saying that I've already started the commander so here he is, base colours done and the face and skin are finished:

I've finally got around to putting some more paint on him! I decided the base colour of the jacket was all wrong, so I remixed the colours with uniform grey, red brown and dark yellow (tamiya) then progressively lightened with dark yellow. About 7 layers so far! Still all the details to do and maybe some more highlights.
