the only thing that would get to me is the idea of how his Chaffee fared

though that makes it much easier to recreate the turret

The Pz III running hardware can be a plus for the captured version.!!
I will give you all this though, the demure M24 looks like its supposed to have skirts, where the poor Sherman just looks like its learning to walk in high heels
