I saw that on the BBC web site, I didn't get an email from eBay? But changed mine anyway just to be safe

Hey Mark... I agree better safe than sorry.... though I would think if anyone really needs to change...are the people who have their paypal and ebay accounts linked... and maybe sellers more than buyers

I'm kind of surprised Ebay didn't send out any notices .... they send emails for special offers and such... but something like this?
Thinking some exec over on Ebay needs to get their priorities in line

I've only just received an email from them asking me to change my password, a bit late

I got a message to change my password when I logged onto ebay the other day.
