we could as a"club" try and get in on the action and see what happens either that or hold a meet and weekend with a trip to bovvie like last years do

only problem i can see is the price of camping :o :o :o :o :o

Originally Tankfest was every two years, they have had a change off management in 2006 if memory serves, last I heard, was they were possibly going to change the format to every year but themed 2008 was Allied (mind you they still had to get the Tiger 1 out).

I've attended Tankfest and Model Expo as a guest of Mark 1 Tanks, as like W&P they don't do anything for free, but again this could have changed under the new management, but one thing is for sure, if you want to attend and run your models at Bovington you will need the dreaded public liability insurance and as Bovy is a .gov it has to be £3,000,000 +, so no BB's and no modifed or not modified laser pens. As guests of Mark 1 we camped on the site for the weekend.

Hope that helps.
All tanked up

sure thats when i last visited the model expo you guys were there

Insurance wont be a problem  ;) ;D ;D

even if there fully booked a trip there on the saturday for tankfest then back to the campsite for a battle and bbq wouldnt be a bad idea

agree with the BBs as they wont like them much lmao

well what rob said is a good idea, "maybe as a club get in on the action", its a long shot i know, but i will get the mrs to ring bovvy tommorow to see what the score is, and to see what the chance is of us getting in there to display our tanks and to battle, if mark 1 can get in why not us?, and if anyone can swing it for us its my mrs, its worth a shot me thinks
