Hi all,

I know there is a lot of confusion around this but I am curious as to whether anyone has done a Panther F/II using the HL/Mato Late Tiger I road wheels. Specifically, would they even fit a HL panther lower chassis, and also whether the HL metal tracks/sprockets/idlers would line up with them. I will have the parts in pieces shortly and will be able to do a dry fitting but if anyone has done it before your advice would be much appreciated.

Also after a HL Panther upper to fit the F turret if anyone has one for sale !

I have all the same parts and plan on doing the same thing but its like many other projects, waiting for the time to do it. I look forward to seeing how it works out for you.

i think i saw a new complete panther turret with ir and recoil on ebay this week from i think it was forgebear, had several days to run

tiger tiger..... I am asking Dave for a Panther top but will be getting the F turret somewhere else, probably Dom from rctank.de

Jnewboy, I spent the day hacking/cutting/drilling and this is what I ended up with:
I kept the HL Panther swing arms, but have to drill out all the HL Late Tiger wheels and put in 9/32" alum tube as the new axle. They slide right over the Panther swing arms, and the outer road wheel and the caps (I didn't put the caps on to show the new axles) will fit right over with a slight push/pressure. This baby is not going to be a runner but I did test it out quickly and it runs okay which I am fine with. Now I just need to get the rest of the parts.
