I do like the weathering but forgive mr picky, the Tiger 1 MID did not have the front step and hand grip, these were removed from the Tiger 1 EARLY, and I am sure someone with more knowledge than me will mention those exhaust shrouds, sorry. shaun
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

I thought only the initial, and early African tigers had different exhaust covers (the ones without the ridge in the case of the initial and the squarer one with vents for the really early African tigers). Abers shroud set says early/later so unless mid was different again I'd stick with them.

Thanks for the feedback guys im always ready to learn and improve on. Ha ha just noticed about the exhaust shrouds, the cutouts, they were on wrong sides must a have been asleep. Anyway happy to report field modifications have been made and shrouds now fitted right way round and i have removed the front grab handle and step bar as per mid production. still learning.

Haha! I did that on my first tiger too (although I'd been building tanks for a couple of years so no excuses!!)

Hi tiger tiger,

She is coming along great  . I like that a lot more than the earlier white version

I have just been messing with the details on my Late Tiger I. Finding out about the details is all part of the fun for me. I like this site a lot particularly the production modifications section. There are some great pics too.

Hope you find it helpful :D

Thanks Tom n Scalawag, yeah tom sometimes i do my modeling at night as i cant sleep well owing to some health issues but it can be counterproductive lol, like when your so tired you dont realise you put the shrouds on wrong way round. But other times you get the peace and quiet to get into it or do research online or ebaying for parts. Thanks for the tip on the alan hamby site paul.
