How to post or linking a video to topic ?

Hi I'm not up on computers as such it took me long enough to work out (even with help) how to post pictures. But a few people have asked my to post a video of my bridgelayer and my trailbrazer on their topics.
Is there a simple idiots guide how to do this? I have seen some of the tanks on you tube and then linked to your site is this the way to do it? and how simple is it for an computer duffer like me to do (ps I have a sledge hammer next to my computer for hitting any key if thats any help)

Hi Denzil,

I find uploading them to you tube then linking the video to the forum is easiest way.

Using You Tube is easy to use as well, Once your logged in there is an upload button at top of the page click that and it guides you through the process. Just make sure that your video is Public otherwise nobody can see it.

When it's all uploaded to you tube you'll have some thing like this in your URL address bar

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jilUntCgCg

Copy the bit after the =

so in this case 8jilUntCgCg

Come to your forum topic click the youtube button and paste in the "8jilUntCgCg"

That way you should get the video showing in the topic with your text and pictures.

First load you video up to Youtube.
1 - Go to the videopage and click Share
2 - Untick this box
3 - copy the code behind ...youtu.be/
4 - start a thread on this Forum (or reply to a thread).
5 - paste and highlight the code off the youtube page.
6 - click the youtube button and you get this -

[ youtube ] EZYoIi5GEF8 [ /youtube ] - I've added spaces between the brackets so you can see the coding.

7 - Press Submit at the bottom.







Without the spaces it looks like this-
