recoil problem

Guys I have just bought a new remote for my tank and I setted it up and everything works except the recoil now when I push up on the left joy stick the boom goes up/down when I push down nothing happens I just get the sound the recoil only happens once or twice and some times if you push up the light at the end of the turret flashes and the recoil works now I have checked all the wires that they are in and it still does it plus the thick red wire with a heating tube around it is also where it is ment to be now someone please help me with this thanks

Hello Applelover , the thick red wire needs to join the battery negative - the black wire , at the main power switch ( maybe you can reuse the connector from the old aerial - although a thicker wire would be better )
