Some amazing work on a Tiger 1

Post by cupoftea »

Found this on another forum: http://www.mujtank.tym.cz/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1733

I hope it is ok to post links to other forums but this is pretty impressive work.

Cup,
I agree. Looks like the real tank from back in the day.

Herr Carius has only recently passed, and I believe he would have had trouble discerning between his own real tank and this one.
Mr Cuppa, that is without doubt the benchmark of perfection in scale that anyone can achieve.............thank you so much for posting it, I'm off now to throw my tiger build in the bin & take up yoga & needle work.............at the same time !, it would be more achieveable than this !!!!!!

Yes, it is a really lovely job.

There's a page with all the photos at:

I'm going to have trouble competing with this one - but I like a challenge!

Herman...

When you say Otto Carius has 'just passed' you don't mean 'passed away'? As far as I know he's still around!
