it's growing on me the more i look at it
anyhoo here we go.............

so now i'm going to paint the tools.

Very nice lister.
You know they always seem to look better to other people at first, but will grow on you over time. The colours are always a bit bright when fresh, but they will blend a bit and will become more subtle if you use a wash on it.
Well done, I think it looks great.

Lister,
I agree with Scalawag. A great pattern that with a wash will come out as completely authentic. ;o) Good Work!

Really nice job on the camo scheme Lister,
as already said, a tan wash for tritone camo will really tie this together well.

thanks derek.
a quick update
just to say i've painted the tools & given it a few coat's of matt clear.
but after a chat with scalawag, i've stopped being a tight arse & splashed out on some proper decals
so just waiting for them to turn up

i know mate, ironic really when you look at how much i spent on paint
what difference does another tenner make?

edit: i was still a tight arse by picking the decals with the most spare numbers & balkan crosses on it
