Hi Doc and thanks for the kind words.

These are indeed all my own work. A lot of them (including the Paras) are Verlinden resin kits. The individual para has had the stock Verlinden sten Mk3 replaced with a Mk5 from these guys:

They are very good for 1/16 small arms and I would definitely recommend them.

Ive also just found this site which has some very nice looking British airborne kits as well as a few others too.

I see too that they have a special offer on at the moment so I may have to take advantage of that :haha: :haha: :haha:

The Historical models are fun to do too, I used to be involved in American Civil War Living History, so started with that period, and then looked for figures that I liked the look of from other times in history.

Thanks Painless, I'm pleased you liked them.

The US Cavalry vignette is one of my favourites too. It is several years old now. The figures are both standard kits (I can't remember who from now unfortunately), and the base is built from scratch. :D

The kits were actually released very soon after one another and when I saw them both I could see this scene.

Thank you all for the kind words of praise,

Model making is something I have always done primarily for my own pleasure, and I am always a little nervous when showing my creations to others. To have such positive feedback from those of this community is very gratifying.

I'm glad that you all liked them. I do have a few more and a couple in other scales so will try to get some pics of them up too. :D
