Tamiya Gepard Flakpanzer, 1/16 Scale, Static Display Kit converted to Seven Channel RC full option using Tamiya MF & DMD computer controllers which include sound effects with a Futaba 2.4 radio system and dual self center sticks. Late 1970’s Bundeswehr markings.
The rc tank uses clever engineering, design and metal fabrication to create a durable and fun to operate rc flakpanzer.
Engineered, designed and fabricated parts by Daryl Turner. The model uses a one off custom metal top hull service lift designed by Daryl Turner; cannons "servo" raise and depress; front range radar operates 360 degrees; rear radar spins, raises & retracts; gear reduction makes for controllable driving; and turret sits on a Turner designed turret quick release unit using 3 large bearings enabling fast turret rotation spins emulating the real Gepard's turret.
Assembly, paint, RC setup and tuning by me. Flakpanzer Commander by friend Martin MacDonald.
Happy Holidays Everyone, John
