new to 1/16 r/c

Post by robs5230 »

finally dipped my toe in and purchased a wsn t34/85.
i have been making models for at least 35 years and set up a radio control model shop in cornwall uk about 12 years ago. i have since sold the shop and gradually over the last few years my interest in modelling has returned.
i have always fancied but never owned a 1/16 r/c tank but now i have the opportunity.
i plan to repaint the t34 and modify as parts allow for a major long term ongoing project. any advice on upgrades welcome.happy days ;D

Good Afternoon,
Welcome to RC Tanking, Rob. Nothing like it in the modeling world for sheer fun. Welcome to the Forum as well. A nicer and more knowledgeable bunch of guys would be very hard to find. I have it on good word that they like pictures so please when you get the chance, show off your new T-34. ;o)
regards,

Greetings Rob

What a great tank to start off with... I just finished one T34 ... and there's another more detailed model in the works done by Phil...

If you got the HENG LONG... that thread is the most helpful... even has tips on modding your suspension

GOOD LUCK.. enjoy the adventure

unfortunately its the wsn but at a price i couldn't refuse so i guess there's plenty to be done. had a good look on here and there seems to be little info on the wsn ( unless i missed it ) and what i have seen seems to say the electrics could be a little better ;)
