Hallo John, Welcome to the Forum, I am so pleased that a new member of this lunatic asylum is building something other than a Tiger 1, Might I suggest you begin by scrolling down the various sites and in that way many of the questions you have will be answered, of course if you do have questions we love showing how clever we are by answering anything you ask, although our expertise is really Tanks rather than cooking a souffle! We are in the middle of discussing the value of our recommended dealers site, My suggestion is read it but use your own judgement and do read the blacklist because these scoundrels want your money, they do not want to offer you any kind of a decent trading experience. I am confidant you will enjoy this place, as you have already heard we can if forced be nearly friendly. shaun
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Hello John.... welcome to the boards.... many here have done "static" kits at one point.... you should really consider RC :haha: ....the rewards are different and a little more satisfying.. as you can watch your creation take flight.... the only drawback being the availability of models to work on

Keep up the good work though.... when and if you do venture into RC ... all those skills will transfer nicely

ENJOY THE ADVENTURE :D
