Hi all not new to modeling but new-ish to radio models picked up my first heng long tiger at car boot for four quid spent about 4o quid so far on it but also bought a king tiger and a second hand pz 4 with rubbish electrics changed them for tx18 works pretty good so all going well. kevin jones

Hello Kevin... those are some pretty popular models you have acquired... there's a lot of tips and mods to be had here...not to mention inspiration... I'm new here too.. and am having a blast :D

Enjoy the Adventure...don't be afraid to ask questions...or show off your tanks...everyone enjoys pictures of tanks... even if they're weird like mine :haha:

Kevin welcome to the Forum, if you are trying to work your way into my affections by boasting of owning a panzer 4 you may just succeed! I agree about the electrics which is why I am fitting a 2.4 GHz upgrade, the best part of the PZ4 is it was in production for so long that the variants are almost limitless and if you shop around and are prepared to scratch build some of it you have something quite unique, this Forum contains most of the answers to your questions, if you scroll down and enter each site to learn their content you will save yourself from making too many mistakes BUT if you want answers please ASK, the depth of knowledge on this Forum is a wonder to behold. shaun

@ shaun, I never realised you were a panzer iv whore! :haha:
he's not wrong though, if you want to know it, someone here has the answer
