Hi every one,i have just bought the recoil unit,micro switch and gun barrel and ir batle unit for my heng long jagdpanther as i want to upgrade from the airsoft system.can any one upload some pictures of how to wire it up .
i have a few diagrams of various sites but would like to see some photos if any one has got any,

I think we really need a "How-to" with pics on this process. I will try to take a picture of my JP with the HL recoil, but it is factory (not conversion) so might be a little different. Converting from BB to IR is actually simply then try to copy the factory IR I think.
First thing you need to do is to make sure that your recoil comes with a microswitch. I know some IR kit doesn't have that but all you have to do is move the one from your BB over if you don't have one on the recoil. If you do, just resolder the wire from the BB microswitch over the the recoil microswitch.
The wiring for the BB motor is the same as the wiring for the recoil motor, so just leave the connection to the RX-18 and resolder the wires from the BB motor to the recoil motor.
The next thing and the most challenging part is the barrel. Not al BB barrel can be use for recoil, and even if it can you will need to extend it to actually reach the recoil block. You need to figure out if the inner silver BB tube will actually reach the recoil block, and also whether there is a notch on the outer barrel to stop it from sliding in/out of the mantlet.
Lastly, you will need to feed a flash (High intensity or otherwise) thru the barrel. You will need to feed this from the back of the recoil unit, thru the recoil casing, into the recoil block and then up the inner barrel. I believe if you have the high intensity flash unit it will just reach for the JP since it is the longest barrel you will find. If you have the high intensity unit it is pre-wired to go straight into the RX-18 with the 2 PIN plug splitting out to be connected to the microswitch from the recoil unit.

Thanks for the reply MichaelC,I will give it a go.did not know if i could use the wires from motor,and i got a micro switch so i will use that on the recoil.not bought a high intensity flash yet but can add one later.thanks for your help.

Just a thought,if i wire the JP same as the panther,that would be ok as the recoil unit is the same right.
