henglong sherman

I bought a metal tracked and gear Sherman but I only get about 5 feet of range with the remote. is something wrong with it or are all henglong tanks like this

On the RX-18 if the radio antenna is not up you will only get 5 feet or so range. Your tank antenna might also be loose as well which would cause the same problem.

also try the receiver board as sometimes it can be this I have had a few like this

I know you probably thought of this but check your batteries in the radio too....

Make sure the main battery is charged as well as this can happen when it is getting flat.
