M36 Jackson Build Report

Two months ago I started to build a M36 Jackson based on Tamiya Lower Hull.
Here are some pictures of the progress of work to date.

The roof field patch on the turret. I made it removable, to easy access to the lifting mechanism.

Here in opened position. I use real 4mm brass hinges.

Decided to build the roof patch field to help hide the lifting mechanism of the gun ...  and because it is pretty cool too!<br />Here in closed position.

I mounted the periscopes in the open position.
