2.4 ghz twin reciever/control units.

Post by cupoftea »

This may be a silly question but I want to convert the HL tiger to 2.4 ghz using the taigen system. One thing I am not too fond of is the HL track recoil 'system' and would like to run two control units a la 'twin rx18' recoil fix. I was wondering if it would be possible to bind two taigen rx's to the same transmitter and use one to control the 'effects' and one to control tank motion.

many thanks for any advice.

Nothing scientific but just tried powering up two Taigen tanks and then try to bind them to a single radio. It appears that once the radio binds with one receiver it stops looking so I couldn't get it to bind to both at the same time.

If you are not using IR function then just get the Dragon ATRC and it will be cheaper than buying another Taigen MFU, or get a MAKO with ATRC that works with Taigen. I think Dragon is only 24 BP at WDM. I have couple of MAKOs with ATRC that will work with Taigen for sale if you look at the For Sale section.
