T-01 Will it provide sound?

These units can be picked up cheap, as they are out of production. I was wondering whether there is any way of getting sound from them, or are they simply twin ESC's? I have no experience of Tamiya kit so any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Rob I think you will find that the T-01 is just a control unit it's the multi-function unit's (eg mf-04 ect) that you get all the sound's from.

I was wondering whether this unit can have an MFU plugged into it though, from the pics I have seen it may be a twin esc, and nothing else?

From the pctures I've seen of this unit, it seems to have the cover for the MFU connector socket as all the other DMD units have. If it has a connector socket underneath the cover then I would guess it might work with a MFU. Pete Wright (971wright) got one of these T-01s with his Sherman. Give him a PM and ask him to take a peek under the cover!
