I was wondering if anyone has encountered this situation, even though Mato 3:1 Gearboxes are indicated to fit the Jagdpnather, they do not.

The stock HL gearbox/motor assemblies are lower in height, the higher mounted motor on the left 3:1 is the "culprit"

This will not allow the upper hull to fit flush with the lower hull.

Typical stock HL motors/gearboxes in a Panther or Jagdpanther

Mato 3:1's, note that the narrative mentions the JP

Height difference in the stock HL and the same Mato 3:1's, note height of the motor on the right side of the picture.

The green paint brush handle points to the black mark where the top of the left motor on the 3:1's interferes with the upper hull.

Looks like these are low enough to fit, if the ends of the motors don't contact each other.
