Hello,
I am a new member here in the United States.
I am very interested in getting an RC tank. I am hoping to read and learn from others, on which tank to pick.
I am thinking of getting a Heng Long Tiger I with the metal upgrades. Just to play with in the mean time.
I would love to find a club or just a few others in my area that are into or interested in RC tank warfare.
I live near Martinsburg, WV in the eastern panhandle of WV. I am close to Hagerstown, MD and WInchester, VA.
Thanks
Spence

Hallo Spence, Welcome to the lunatic asylum, Instead of the Heng Long Tiger 1, have you thought of the Torro Tiger 1? I ask because the H/L tiger comes with some features you do not want, such as the Turret is in the wrong place and it takes a lot of work to get it right. The Torro comes with a metal hull, turret, wheels and tracks or at least mine did, and a quick release hull which means you do not have to unscrew the two halves. All the upgrades for the H/L will fit the Torro Tiger and all in all it feels like a better vehicle than the Heng Long. Whatever you decide I would suggest you go to the approved dealers site ( find it by scrolling down to VENDORS ) you will not get ripped off and you will get a lot of help, there are a number of American and Canadian dealers on the site, although many North American members of this Forum do deal with European dealers and the feedback is generally positive. hope all this helps. whatever, if you have any questions we have answers, just ASK. shaun
I think I am about to upset someone
