HL drivers visor

HL drivers visor

hi all, can the HL Tiger drivers visor be removed or is it moulded to the front plate? i have had a look inside but can't see any fixings. i just want to open it up as it should be. thank's.

Yes it can be removed from the front plate, the plate itself is a thin moulding stuck to the front of the main body tub its not that thick so be careful you don't damage the front plate when taking it off - I wasn't and damaged mine thinking it was thicker than it really is.

Don't be timid Maybach! Turn the top over and look for the two plastic pegs securing the glacis plate and drill around them from the inside. Then gradually prise it away and it should pop out easy enough. Then you will be able to cut away the visor from the bottom up. Try it because the Tiger looks much better when the driver isn't blind...

tanks for the memory, i have had another look after your post and can see now that it is a full width plate, i thought it was just the visor came off. there is movement in it so will try to prise it off with a thin blade i have. thanks again.
