Clark Board sound effects

Post by MichaelC »

HI all,

Just upgrade my HL Tiger I with metal hull/Asiatam recoil/IR with the Clark board and noticed that there is "bonus" sound effects with certain Sony Remote buttons. For example if you hit "3" you will get a bullet sound effect and "2" is actually a hit to the tank itself and a small shudder. I don't think this is documented anyway, is it ? It is certainly no where to be found on the TK-20 series PDFs on the Clark website.

I think I pretty well have everything I need hook-up. Just one minor issue. When I fire the cannon more than twice in a row the engine noise goes away. Everything is still working but if you want the engine sound you need to start it up again. If anyone has similar problem please let me know !

I will try every button later on tonight but it looks like "2" and "3" is the same IR hit as you would get for machine gun and main gun perhaps ? So it is not a bonus but just rather a "simulated" hit from the remote........ :-)

Ooops...... I didn't "RTFM"....... It is in the TK-20 series PDF. Remote key 1-4 gives the status and fires cannon and MG to the tank....... My bad.

Still like to figure out the engine sound turning off problem when I fired the cannon though.

Michael the engine should not shut off when you fire the cannon. I can't think of why it would do that unless there was something in the trims, battery condition or the radio stick itself. I'll mess around with my turnigy and see if I can get it too mimic what yours is doing.

Yeah it was easy to mimic, on mine I was able to get it too shutdown on the first cannon firing but then it wouldn't shut down the engine on the any other cannon firings.
I will go through it as I think this is in the controller. maybe I have to make some changes because of the half stick movement
