Heng Long Tiger 1
My First RC tank, Tiger 101, as driven by Kurt Knispel. Still a work in progress. I need to extend the gun and change the headlights. Also want to add some details like fuel drums etc.
Thanks for taking a look, I hope you guys like her.

Great looking Tiger 1, great weathering job, like the rust streaks. Well done. For those additions, check with Welsh Dragon, he has all those items. Hope that helps with your project...

Thanks very much. I've been drooling over all the detail parts on Welsh dragon models for weeks, soon as my budget will allow, dragon will do very well out of me! lolRed Devils wrote:Great looking Tiger 1, great weathering job, like the rust streaks. Awesome job Ghost, well done, keep the pictures coming. You obviously honed your skills on smaller models?

Thanks, much appreciated. I've actually not done armour before. I've built a few model ships, such as the Yamato, but I didn't do a great job them. Just flat grey, red bottom, brown deck. That kind of thing. This is my first shot at weathering.Viking7604 wrote:Awesome job Ghost, well done, keep the pictures coming. You obviously honed your skills on smaller models?
The results are thanks mostly to all the guys on here posting their builds and giving me inspiration and tutorials from people like Mig Jimenez.
Thanks again for your really nice comments.

Re: Heng Long Tiger 1
Thanks very much. I love the leaves. If anyone else is looking for scale leaves, I got them from basecrafts. £1.50 a pot and enough to do about 5 tanks (unless you want to really swamp your tank of course!) they are meant to be 1/35 scale, but to be honest they fit 1/16 much better. I sprayed the tank with Dull cote and then dropped the leaves on, and then another blast of dull cote once they were stuck in place to really secure them.Maybach wrote:very nice, i like the addition of the leaves.
It's the little things that count as they say lol
