Hi,
Its an interesting little tank, with a very unusual steering system and probably a very smooth ride from the suspension...
Depending on the meaning of the word 'Battlefield', I am not sure about the site quote here though,a few tanks were delivered, by air, direct to the battlefield. The first time this had ever been done.
The Germans had 213 of the Messerschmitt Me 323 and since they were used in Russia they almost certainly delivered tanks and assault guns to the battlefield.......... ;)
Does anyone know where the Germans used these 'Giants'...?
Alb.
