Tiger 142 almost lives again
Well here is some pics of my 142. Almost done. I still have to make the exhaust shields, rear mud flaps, paint the turret numbers, and address a few other miscellaneous things like a wash and tidying up. So what do you guys think so far. Honest opinions please. I did received some decals from a friend, but they wear to small. So I am trying to piece together the turret number 142.
You have nothing to fear, but fear its self. Or maybe a KT too!

Looks great!
The offer on my surplus decals is still open if you think you can use them.

Re: Tiger 142 almost lives again
Thanks guys, I guess it does look good if it is liked by some of the best. ( you're your own worse critic) That's why I post pics also it is the first one I have totally transformed. Learned a lot from here. There was some kind of connection with the 142. I wanted to do an initial Tiger (my favorite) so I started looking and out of all the 142 just hit me.
As for the decals they're standard turret height, thick white outline and clear inners. I will post more when done.
Is there anyone here that is really familiar with the Panther. I want to trans form my Panther G to the 434, 4th Komp, 51 Panzer Panther D and I need some good reference books. I know another early, but there is something about them in their initial stages.
