Re: heng long track recoil
You can try doubling up on RX-18s. Tap both of them into the battery as well as the same receiver board, one RX-18 control movement and the other one for the rest of the functions.
Re: heng long track recoil
I just got 2 of them from WDM in UK. The Dragon itself will only work with BB, if you have IR you will need the whole MAKO/Dragon combination. I think it was 17BP.

Isn't this the one ?

20 BP though. This one plugs into IR port and you just connect motor wires to the Dragon. No soldering. There is only one called Dragon and this is it. There are others out there called ATRC but will require soldering. It is a different version of the same thing.

Re: heng long track recoil dragon fitment
hi micheal yes thats the unit i am looking for but could not find it on wd site before thanks for the info , this unit should be very popular to get rid of annoying track recoil on heng long tanks , tanker242
Re: heng long track recoil
I bought two and not realizing that it needs exclusive use of the IR port, but RC-Aussie is kind enough to work a deal out with me to get the MAKO/ATRC set which will work with IR at the same time. If you are thinking of using IR at the same time don't bother with this one and just get the new MAKO 2 which has it build in and works with your RX-18/Taigen as well. I am waiting for my package from RC Aussie to try this out.
I recently tried the 2 RX-18s just to see and it actually works quite nicely but you will need to do some soldering/splitting etc. It does work with both BB and IR and it is the cheapest, especially if you have some extra RX-18s lying around like I do.
