Hi Raven,

Yes, Mark1 is well known. He's a really nice bloke and Tony (Tiger205) and me have been to his open days a few times as he is based about 10 miles away from us.

His tanks are generally made by a Russian guy, Alex Schlackter (don't quote me on the spelling!) Mark gets them as basic hulls and superstructures from Russia and then you can either add details and paint yourself or Mark will do it to your spec.

Hatakashi, who is also a member of this site got his 1/4 scale King Tiger from Mark 1 before he moved back to Hong Kong.

Mark1 has been around for about 10 years if my memory serves me correctly.

it is a good site raven, and like nigel said, we've been to several of his open days, and mark is a really nice bloke, you might want to keep an eye on his site to see when his open days are, and maybe make a trip over for one, its along way to come for a day out, but you would be welcome to stay at mine for the night it would save along old journey. we only live 15-20 min's up the road from mark's place
