Well I'm going to play devil's advocate here and say why oh why cant Heng Long be original and do something different. Tamiya get accused of not releasing enough stuff or rehashing old kits only for heng long to copy their hard work.

Heng Long did ZTZ99 tank after that I suppose the Leo wasn't too difficult to produce and will probably be a big money maker for Heng Long.

Plus rumour is Abram's, challenger 2and T34 in the pipeline so fingers crossed will appear soon.

well I think HL is releasing way more product than Tamiya has in the past bit, As for the Leopard I think its a good choice. More countries have the Leopard in service than the other modern tanks so it stands to reason the market for the product should be bigger.

The rumours of the other tanks to be released are no longer rumours. I can't say how I know but I know they are on the way. Even the rumour of the 2.4 ghz controllers are no longer rumours with Mato putting one in their Sherman. Ask Forgebear I think he actually has some in stock  could it be that everything new is going to go 2.4 right out of the box???????

Forgebear If you read this are their any other changes to the controller system? is the tank smoother, is the track recoil on firing still their?

Lets all just hope things keep going the way they have been as I think we are in the "The Happy Time" if I can quote a bit of history
