Possible build of SdKfz 304 Springer

I have a 1/6 Dragon kit of the Kettenkrad, and originally bought it because it was cheaper than the already-built version. I have seen people RC this kit, and I know that space for the RC gear is at a premium. As I have looked at it and thought about possibilities for it, I have decided that what I would REALLY like to do with the kit is convert it into the Springer demolition vehicle, as seen at Bovington. Unfortunately, although the real vehicle used Kettenkrad components, it has two extra roadwheels (one inner and one outer) and extra track links. Buying another kit by myself would give me twice the amount of parts I would need for it, so I thought I would ask here to see if anyone else had also considered making this vehicle. I was thinking that if we shared the cost of a donor kit; it would be cheaper than either of us doing it on our own. -Mike
