HL Stug Gun Assembly Removal?

Post by Glen B »

..............and re-installing it.

Does anyone have a recommended method the do this?

I have done one about a year and a half ago, spent many hours trial and error attempting every option, then two of us spent some more time examining it. It remained an agravating puzzle. :{

Eventally, things were "forced" into place with no adverse results but I don't like that and there must be a better way.

Perhaps some things in the assembly are glued in place at the factory, making for easy of assembly but difficult to work on, latter?

I'm planning on getting to grips with my Stug tonight. Are you suggesting that you unscrew the barrel before disassembling anything else? I've given mine a few firm twists and it doesn't feel like it wants to budge...

Sure, I'd like to see that to compare it to my experience.
