I'm hoping to replace the recoil in my Heng Long Stug III. It's not just the fact that it works in reverse - snapping forward rather than back - but also the sheer bulk of the combined recoil and elevation mechanism.
In theory it should be possible to adapt the Asiatam / Taigen Panzer III recoil / elevation unit to fit... but has anyone actually tried this. Or is there another solution?
Anyone installed Taigen recoil in a Stug?

I think you will find there isn't room for the asiatam unit. You can mod the stug recoil - I think i've seen it as a post on this site.

It does look like it will be a tight fit...
I've been looking for the instructions for reversing the recoil on the HL Stug but can't find them anywhere.
Can anyone help?
