Check to see what his feed back about you is. This should tell you wether or not he has you mixed up with someone else.
I had some problems with someone in India hacking my email and trying to contact a bunch of e bay sellers with my ID but ebay caught them all as undeliverable.
I had to change my email ID to get it to stop.
