Tiger 1 early midprodection

Post by greengiant »

THis is my HL tiger 1 that I have done some modifications on. at least enough to make it a early mid production unit with new cammanders hatch and the left hull mounted headlight. Someday Ill convert it to the full mid production type with zimmerit and the front center headlight. The front hatches have been opened and hinged metal ones installed. The barrel has also been been made the correct length,as most of you know the original HL has it in the full recoil position. All control switches and the battery charger connection have been moved into the now openable hatch locations.

Very realistic set-up for an ambush. I would not like to have my Sherman in your sights :-)

Well done

! have number of dioama bases that are usable for photos and by positioning whatever Im taking pictures of in different ways I can make some pretty good and interesting shots. The one in these photos was made specifically for the tiger and its real size is only about an inch or so larger then the tank in length and about 18 inches wide. Its also the largest base Ive yet to make. Thanks for the compliments.

Thanks for the compliment. It makes the effort more rewarding when a fellow rc modeller gives a response.
