Sweet Mr. Hermann. This is such an interesting build that I at least had to order yet another 1/35 Tiger kit to have one of those mixed cats. Cheers

Cheers lads..............keeping it simple really.
Made up a few ersatz tool clamps to place in the spots where the tools are missing.
No point in going through the effort to use Aber PE stuff when this is going to be a roughy.
Brass sprue from the myriad of engine grille mesh Ive used over time.
Just bent each with needle nose pliers to be representative of empty and distressed tool clamps.

Strange how in order to leave detail off, I have to muck around to make other details at least to keep a degree of replication. :/

Anyhoo, just a few more bits to set in place on the deck then its onto the mudguard mountings.
I can feel a fair old bit of weld to stick in place as well now I look at it :(

Oh heeeellll no :lolno:
Mr C has to have a mix of huge eyes and patience of Mother Theresa to pull off what he does !!
I just rely on Jack Daniels to calm my hand & steady the disposition !!! :shifty:

I decided to create a few mudguard sections to add a bit of busy-ness to the sides.
Hand cut & folded the top mount edges with a set of wide nose pliers.
Ripped over the surfaces with a sanding cylinder on my ryobi multi tool and voila.
Plan to drill 0.5mm holes in each section to match the ones I have in the hull sides and secure these with dress making pins & Gel super glue.
They will bend up nicely to add operational damage to them quite convincingly.
Rough is the new Black you know !! ;)

Yes yes lovely work as always, I am full of admiration for your skill and inventiveness but I am not talking to you for the moment,
Matters of a sporting nature are getting in the way. :(
Shaun.

Oooo...this looks interesting! I'm watching this for ideas. I'm particularly interested in the durability of this mod, especially since you're building a battler.

Good evening, Herman!
Drill those brass 'fenders' for mounting while they are off the vehicle. I learned this lesson reattaching a couple of the ones that came loose during shipping on Jack's Tiger. I figure as or if the others come loose while running, I will drill them and mount with Tamiya hex head screws until they are all down as such. Your Tiger is really coming along, Doc. ;o)
regards,
Painless
