If you are painting ...what you might be able to so is to just brush coat thick paint on the wire..it might make up a little and give it a more insulated look ...had some photos of the cable on my thread....the cable was surprisingly beefy

Looks nice! I went for humbrol colours for my Leopard although not painted it yet.
How will you weather her? I'll be watching as the Leo needs the same weathering being a desert beasty.

Ahhhhh.....Will you be able to cut it back once it has dried?
No. HAHAHAHAHAHA!
It doesn't look bad though. Well, not that bad hehehehe
I've got the NATO Brown and NATO Green on already. Just finished painting the main gun with all three colours. The CROWS and the loader's MG have also been painted. Tomorrow morning I'll finish painting the turret, and then seal it with clear gloss tomorrow afternoon. After that, it's time to make custom decals (bumper codes, chevrons, etc).

Paul,
I'm liking what I'm seeing. ;o) The anti-skid looks factory perfect. Someone needs to come out with the alternative sprocket in metal. As big as they are, having the lighteners cast into them would not affect durability in any way. ( that I can see ) Following along.
regards,
Painless

AHA! A great updated All About Da Bones, the second tank of third platoon, Alpha Company, 1-64 Armor, 2nd Brigade, Third Infantry Division. The original All About was an M1A1 that participated in the Thunder Runs into Baghdad in April 2003. It's distinctive feature was a plastic human skull placed on the mantlet by the crew.
Here she is:

Haha! Those fenders were easy to damage. There was an instance during the Thunder Run into Baghdad of one tank colliding with another on the front, riding up to the engine deck, resulting to, among other things a really broken up fender.
A32 above has a replacement right fender hence green.
