Ahhhh,.....electronics..............my kryptonite
Sound is awsome mate. The aerial does the right thing and the entire machine looks spot on. Hard to believe it was in all sorts of bits the other day.

Okay Herman, (not only) for you here a mechanical thing...
My track tensioner system I have also again changed, instead of the 1.8 mm thick spring was now a spring of 1.6 mm thickness used. This torsion spring is sufficiently strong enough to tensioning the tracks, but relents if obstacles are in the tracks. For a little demonstration I've once made a video.
For that I've placed a skewer into the left track and drove then once forward, until the skewer is once gone over the idler wheel. It goes everything pretty quickly, but it's still good to see how the left torsion spring relents.

Awesome Tiger, someday I will start my late Tiger project, seems all these "honey do" lists kinda get in the way... I am looking forward to the rest of this build, I do hope you find the culprit that stole your back plate and jack!
Cheers!
Congratulations Eastern Front, your thousandth post!
Nice to hear from you.
I believe to know, where my jack is and also my rear wall...
...and I hope Santa Claus brings both back to me...

Almost at last got my Tiger his modifications at the rear fenders and their suspensions.
It started again with CAD drawings; these then transferred to a copper sheet and subsequently cut out the main parts.
The lateral extensions of the rear fenders I've used further, because their dimensions and appearance was not changed. The hinge parts were also right away bent.
The old hinges were dismantled and the struts removed. These are used then further and soldered to the new fenders.
I’ve built both fenders with the same orientation (i.e. no left and right version).
That I've seen at photos, although drawings of the tiger show often a left and right version - each the larger cutout to the outside.
After cleaning were the struts soldered to the new fenders.
Then followed the production of the counterparts of the hinges, also cut from a copper sheet, bent and soldered. The whole thing six times.
Before I've mounted the fender side parts I've freed them first once from the old paint...
...and with Tamiya primer primed again afterwards.
At the end of today a pic of both fenders, already mounted at the rear wall.
To be continued…

Excellent home-brew late fenders! They look great on the tank.
Question: What is that big white block with all the holes in it? Some kind of kiln plate?

Yes, that's correct. Plenty of drawings, model kits and upgrade sets get it wrong.
