So the 2nd printer is on it's way, but i doubt it will arrive before Christmas unfortunately. But fingers crossed.
I have bought another Creality Ender 3!

Thanks for the extra pictures btw, they are great

I have now got my laptop fixed, so i can crack on with the Tiger engine again. It is almost complete.
But i will also be doing a new inlet manifold with triple carb setup. So can print that off no problem. I have made the parts all connect together with simple dowel pins, so they can be customised.

Maybe a Tiger tank engine Rat Rod will come next with some new exhaust manifolds!

I just ordered a second printer myself, Will, but mine will be a resin printer. It might provide a good opportunity to see the difference between the tiger engine printed on an fdm printer compared to a resin printer.

Well maybe a Ram Air charger on top?
Ok yeah it needs detailing, but it only took 30seconds to see what it look like haha!! More detail maybe to come in that respect!

I'm assuming the dimensions were the same between the two motors?
Sorry guys, Will's piqued my ocd because my tiger is an early which means I'm pre ordering one of his 3 filter variants! Dammit, someone tell me the carb/filter setup was used on both and put me out of my misery, lol B|
According to my tank museum Tiger 1 book, apparently only the first 250 Tiger 1's had the underpowered aluminium 210, and the rest had cast iron 230's.
And whenever one of those early 250 Tiger 1's had an engine replaced, it was replaced with a 230, with only minor alterations in the engine bay required including how the engine was connected to the cooling fans.

Therefore, yay, any earlies could have quite easily had the twin air filter ones :D

Mick.

No worries, I am not cutting up any Tigers or tanks.
But I reckon a tiger tank maybach engine in a Rat Rod would look the nuts!
