I really do hope this is just a misunderstanding as I will not be happy that another member is trying to bastardise the hard work and time Chris Ludwig has put into making this E-25 kit and the hard work I am doing in making it.
It does seem strange though that he hijacked my thread to show off this rather than do the decent thing and start his own thread to possibly show a different version of the E-25 kit.
I just hope that some of the build options Chris has designed don't end up been plagiarised.

Anyway I should have a fresh update for you all very soon :)

As a stand alone build, yes, just another version.
BUT, put in context with the Merkava, the T-90, and this, it sure looks like a vendor without the formal process accordingly.

I.P. gathering..............this site could, in the wrong mindset, be used as an R & D dept for ones own gain.
I was wary of the T-90 and Merk builds, but to have the E now being punched out at a hundred miles an hour and in the context it is displayed............1+1 = ?

I would like to hope that this is exacerbated by the language barrier, and can be sorted out simply & to everyones benefit.
If he wishes to become a vendor, the process must be followed & permissions granted etc.

Slingshot vending is not fair to our long term members & vendors, nor is is fair to jump in & use this site as a marketing division without at least going through due process.

Lets now keep this fine build thread as it should be and Mr Merlins efforts can be respected.
I will leave the other posts in place as context, but will drop any others that are put in here from the other builder IF they contain more of the same. He can easily start his own build thread & should do so.

I've split kilyoung's post into his own thread here: http://www.rctankwarfare.co.uk/forums/v ... =1&t=15043

I'm sure it is a misunderstanding and he just wanted to show off what he's built himself but it should have been in its own thread

Well with all of that out of the way, just wanted to say that this build is coming along very nicely, and that as always forum discussion is alive and well, which is what makes interesting reading.

I like Christian's approach, designing the hardware that none of the large manufacturers will do, and it's great to see a few them coming to life on this forum.

Hi Edpanzer, I am using the black steel gears from a Taigen King Tiger and using the King Tiger sprockets and Idlers.
However you can use the Panther sprocket and idlers which was the original intention of Chris's design, I just didn't think the panther set up would have looked right.
As I am finding out this is going beyond a budget build just because of all the ancillaries that are required etc.

Here is the latest update of my E-25 build.

I have constructed the upper hull and fitted the metal add on parts to detail up in the initial stages prior to paint.

I'm very excited now that it is getting close to initial paint so that should bring this to life more.

I'm looking forward to your comments and or advice / criticism.
