Ugly in a good way, That would scare the Hell out of any Allied armor just on appearance along, talk about the evil dragon effect, you have certainly captured it with this build. Well done.

Thanks Guys! It looks better in person without digital effect. Paint looks much better than these pics....the grey is actually green and the red is much more muted and the tracks have a real rust color to them..

Xrad found some interesting Photo, thought I would share. Not all are specific to your build but interesting as an alternate suspension systems.

Rarities of the Tiger Family by Wolfgang Schneider Elefant-Jagdtiger-Sturm-tiger It may be a bit late, but in changing some programs and files I discovered this e-book download file. There are a few more suspension specific pictures if these have not been viewed by you previously?

good stuff Sax! that triangular part is the hoist mount for removing the wheels. You can see the lifting lug still in between the wheel halves on the loose wheel. There is a great video of the aberdeen elefant with suspension torn down on U tube somewhere. I made some still pics from the vid which are pretty nice...but on my old computer drive somewhere..

New RX18 on left, older style on right. Older style has better MG sound, newer one has better (Louder) main gun sound. Better amps section on the new board. BUT, bad QC led to two resistors touching and first use of gun elevation smoked the board (lots of smoke blown up by the fan)

new radio board. I am having some issues with very short range.

Charcoal dust, finish detail, fine light sand dust, mud and heavy coat of dull gives an overall effect of light rain right after a bad battle. Tarp on top hastily folded away helps hide the subtle scale assymetry of the top deck fittings (malpositioned slightly by Matorro and exaggerated by hull lengthening)

Runs great, no track slippage, goes over 2 inch obstacles no problem

citadel corners ground down for periscopes. deck step off can be seen in side shot, front deck should be lower than rear deck. There is a small angle cut under front citadel glacis. accurate torch cuts on side plates near the tow eyes. I still need a few details like 12 wing nuts for the hull mounts.

I really like this set of Impact gearboxes..much smoother than last set.
