Winterketten are so mean looking! You have a winner going here, Rob!

Forgot to spray the MG shield :headbang:

So that‘s the next thing to do.
And I also must spray some other parts like the smoke launchers and a few orher parts which have to be in DG.

When that is done, I can assemble the assault gun again and start thinking about some descent camo.

CU,
Rob.

Added a descent and simple camo.
Next step, weathering.
After that a worn whitewash with the hairspray method.
The maingun with Saukopf ist just laying loose on the assault gun.
Havent connected any electronics yet.
Later, after everything is connected, it will come a bit further forewards.

Yes! Replacement parts in the red oxide undercoat. I like the idea!

Worked almost all day altering the upper hull.
Quite some work!
Schürzen and lower hull need to be done, maybe tomorrow.
Did it all with a brush.
Still not done yet, some small things to do.
Want to ad a worn White Wash, but I am a bit scared to ruin the model.
Hmm…..
Will take a shot at the bottom of the lower hull to see if I can do the job.

Just take a hard brush, and some kitchen paper, or how do you guys call that!
Dip the brush onto the paper first before you go to the tank.
Lot of work…..
Almost done.

I do have some spare Wintertracks too.
But they do not fit their usual spot behind the superstructure, otherwise my grenadiers won‘t fit anymore.
Maybe I will bent a brass strip and mount the tracks in front of the bow.
We‘ll see…
