Looks like a Ferret Scout car placed into service.
The Tiger with the small fascines on each side is a nice Mid so pretty simple to convert an H/L .
Note the banned flag on the stowage bin for aerial recognition.

Kaiser Fried Chicken was a very limited edition back then !!
I think that might be a Panzerspahwagen Mk1 202/Captured Dingo scout car,
German army loved them and a lot of captured ones saw service in Europe.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

2 things about the Dingo/Ferret to dislike was the steering wheel was arse about face with the top of the wheel nearest the drivers chest and the bottom of the wheel nearest the bulkhead  and the Daimler Hydraulic clutch which could break your ankle if you tried releasing it as you would a regular clutch, :O Bang it in and get your foot out of the way or else :lolno:

Coming in at about 6lbs….

I asked this a few posts back, “anyone running the blue or red HL motors?? I’m getting a bit concerned with the weight and the standard motors I have. Now is the time to change if beneficial.”

Blue or Red motors would be unrealistic. A better option would be gearing with more torque. The stock gear/motor combo on my Taigen and Torro tanks are the V2 4:1 with 380's which are solid torquey performers. IIRC the stock Heng Long gears are 3:1. FWIW neither the the HL or Taigen are true 3:1 or 4:1 that's just what they are listed at. My Taigen V2 4:1's are in fact listed by Taigen at 90:1 while their 3:1's are listed at 39:1. I don't know if the Taigen gears are exactly comparable to Heng Long. Someone with more knowledge can chime in here.

I saw a post that mentioned Mabuchi RS-380PH motors, along with a few others. Are you familiar with these?

Is 6-7lbs average for rebuilds?

Well, I answered my own weight question. Seems that the average out of the box is about 8-9/lbs. I think I’ll hit that when I add the tracks and wheels.

I highly recommend the Heng long dual current gearbox. Very worth it.
