Hi Mart ,
Yer that sounds a good idea . thanks . The vision port is very easy to do just cut the old one were its required ( see my pict ) . Its relatively thin so cuts easy with a sharp craft knife . I then painted the area behind the vision port black for efect . Then used some milliput to pad out the piece you have cut of to aid gluing it back on and then when its set just stick it back on leaving a slight gap. I then scored a line on the top to simulate the shape of the sliding piece as you look at it from above . I had ago today at fitting a lip around the drivers , mg guners hatches . and after three diferent attempts Ive cracked it . I found a plasic bottle almost the correct diameter and with some messing about it works . however I managed to break the hing on one hatch , the other ive already broke but repaired so Im going to buy a new set I think , pluss I had added a static locking mechanism

.
All the best Andy

Hi Brel .
Im back ! I had a look at the hinge post , very good . I tryed to make some from brass but no luck . I then bought some small hinges from B&Q and addapted them , but the knuckles just looked to big . So scrapped that idea and now have made one set from some steel shim plate and they look a lot better.

Hi Mart ,
Ive bourght the Asiatam Tiger 1 bottom and the steel wheels from the for sales . Im thinking of adding them to my 101 tiger but when you battle is it required to hace them waterproofed ? I shouldnt of bought this but it was a good price I cant afford the full price .My Tiger 1s turret looks a nitmare now Ive added the centeral weld seam to make it look like the 40mm two part roof . Ive also altered the loaders hatch and finaly finished it today , just wants priming . I keep looking at my cupola and it looks like its to high ?
All the best Andy

You only need to waterproof it if you're daft enough to dive thru deep water - I'm not, so I don't...
The Asiatam hull is the best thing that ever happend for the HL/Mattoro Tiger/SturmTiger, wish I could afford a few more :-\
I agree that the diecast commanders cupola does look a little high - I might see if I can rip mine off and sand it down a bit. If I'm brave enough...

Hi Mart,
Ok I just wasnt sure what you did during these battles . Ive got this one but I doubt I will be getting any more for a long time . I have reduced the height of my commanders cupola slightly and removed more from the turret but I cant take any more else there will be a huge hole . Ive angeled the side of the cupola to its not perfect but looks a lot better . Thats all Ive done today :-\ I may be going out for a beer tonight that is a may be if Im on here later you know I havent

Hi Mart,
Hope your ok mate . I dont know if you read my post . Im trying to make the little hinged covers for the Tiger 1 exhausts . God Ive got to much time on my hands . Think Ive reduced my picts now . Sorry I didnt realise they were to big , sorry . God my Tigers looking messy . Ive tryed to give the impression it has the 40mm roof by putting in the centeral seam and changing the loaders hatch so its a bit like the KT one .

Had a go at the jack brackets for my Tiger 1 . Ive seen a couple of versions . These are not finished yet , theres a couple of bits I want to tweek up a bit . I couldnt get the butterfly fixing bolt so fitted a piece of 'T' shaped wire for now . I may alter this or at least make it look more like a butterfly head . The right hand side one Im going to re do.

Hi Im not the best painter of figures , but Ive had another go at the pea dot cammo . I know there is vereations in the shades etc of the genuine cammo . Heres two of my HL figures. The commador still needs the neck and head phone cables adding and the head band for the head set.
