Finally got my upper hull upgrade set including the extra handles I needed, so got them on the engine deck and painted a bit sharpish.

Fixed some parts to the rear hull area.

Had to cut the air cleaners in half so they would fit behind the exhaust deflector box. Not sure if the exhaust pipes would have come out like that , but they filled the holes and are not visible when the top hull is on, and they were another anchoring point for the exhaust deflector box. o-

I wish the makers of upgrade parts would check to see if their parts are conpatible with each other. o-
After fitting the upgraded final drive supports (TM001) from ETO Armor(see earlier in this thread), I wanted to fit the DP23 Outdrive covers, also from ETO Armour.
Image
But they would not sit properly over the support bearings even after cutting away the internal collar. So I had to open out the wholes
Image
But in doing so I lost the detail around the inner ring.
Image
So I cut down a redundant hard plastic tyre from another kit and with Dremel and file made the approximate shape of the detail I had lost and fixed into place with silicon rubber cement.
Image
Then painted it all over.
Image
I know none of this can be seen when the sprocket wheels are on, but I know its there.
MAN....somebody should check that oil seal :haha:

Removed side ledges and reformed new ones with styrene strip.

Made front mud guards from brass plate and styrene angle.

Waiting on some thicker styrene sheet, so I can make the rear mudguards.
Decided to knock up the kits stowage parts.
Image
Not sure how much of this I will use cos the stowage on Oddballs tank will be quite specific to the film, but sure I will use a few bits.
Also put the first touches of paint on the upgraded all metal M2 heavy machine gun
Image
Nice bit of kit that, with several moving parts.
