Got some information back from Germany, the pictures where taken in Czestochowa/Poland, and the Tiger belonged to sPzAbt 424 former sPzABT 501 haven't got a date but it must be late 44

the pic was taken in January 1945, i thought the site was polish but its actually German.

Very close on my guess though you still haven't given me the link.
Littlefield has removed the brackets from the side of his Panther until they can find evidence as for what they where designed for then they will replace them, last I saw was the engine in place and running without the turret or tracks

i only re-found the page again last night, cant seem to link it so go to google and type this in, spzabt 424 im osten 44/45 forth address down look for thema anzeigen, that will give the exact page, didn't realize but you can translate it too English
