That's some nice brushin'! Looks just like the scheme you were aiming to achieve. I like the uneveness and modulation the paint--very realistic. Great example of what an airbrush can achieve. Well done!
Winner, winner, jagdpanther dinner!

Thank you so much! I need to get back to the Jagdpanther but unfortunately I've been swamped with work, and I've had to step back from it for a while - hopefully get moving on it again soon!

Finally had a little time to myself, so I thought I'd do something relating to my Jagdpanther Project - I find it hard to come by side skirts for the Jagdpanther / Panther online these days so ... I thought I'd 3D print my own.

This is my first test:

To be transparent, i did not design this, but I did scale it up from 1/35 to 1/16. It has one smooth and one texture side for whatever preference I feel like.

Hope to get back to my main model soon for not unfortunately it's in storage, but hopefully, this will light the fire once again!

I went back to your post at the start showing the mountain of goodies from Foregbear. Oh how nice to have all the right stuff from the start. I'm glad that you are able to get back at the fun.

Small progress update on the Jagdpanther,
Road wheels painted and given a very basic panel lineing, I'm very new to "weathering" so the Tank it's self is fairly fresh apart from exhaust suit and a few stains down the hull & oil/dirt splatter up the rear.

As far as the total astetic goes I'm going for a "rushed to the front look" meaning you can still see red oxide Primer in places like the rear face of road wheels and lower hull. It will be less visible once the tracks go on.

Yes, some red primer showing makes for realism. Keep up the great work!

A few more pictures while the tracks are off getting weathering. Not to far off being "complete" if that is even possible with these Image

Tow cables on as test fit don't worry they are getting painted! ImageImageImageImageImageImage

As far as this model goes i think I'll keep it as is with Dirt streaks/dust & mud it's ment to be fairly fresh on the field so I'm keeping it clean - ish for a tank.
